Hi everyone! It's misty, damp and dreary here in West Yorkshire today. Only six weeks to the shortest day, and then we're on our way back to longer days.
I've been on a bit of a roll...I made a card last night and two today. They're all a bit different for me, but I enjoyed making them using different techniques.
Card No.1 - I embossed the whole base card background, then stamped Anna Griffin rose image with Tuxedo Black onto a Spellbinder labels twenty. The rose is coloured with - Barn Door, Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet, Shabby Shutters and Bundled Sage distress inks. Pearls and seam binding are from my stash.
Card No.2 - I made my own background by stamping an assortment of flourish patterns from Vintage Garden by Stempelglede, using Rusty Hinge distress ink. I then stamped the Anna Griffin sentiment onto a Spellbinder labels two with Chocolate Impress dye inkpad. I rubbed rusty hinge ink over some white card to make matching rolled roses then added some peach spotted organza ribbon.
Card No.3 - For this card I used an Anita's stamp that I've had for years and never used. I stamped directly onto my card base with Tuxedo Black, then stamped again onto pink card for the flower and green card for the leaves. I then paper pieced these onto my card. The sentiment is on the same stamp. Finally, I added a little pink twine bow.
Apologies for the long post, but I thought it was better than posting them all individually.
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy the rest of today xx
