Floral Birthday

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all safe and well.  My heart goes out to anyone who may be suffering this terrible weather, and flooding.  I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to have your precious home flooded and the trauma that goes with it.
I would like to say hello and welcome to my new followers.
Today I have a card for a friend who will be celebrating her birthday.  I wanted to embellish it with some of the beautiful flowers from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop...
I embossed my base card then dusted with Peach Glimmer Chalk. I then added two layers of paper from the Prima 'Rondelle' paper stack. I cut two flourishes from Spellbinders 'Venetian Motifs' then added my flowers, seam binding bow, pearl pins and pearls, all from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.  Sentiment is by Anna Griffin.
The daisies and rosebuds were white, but I dusted over them with peach glimmer chalk to add colour.  I finally added some foliage, punched from white card and coloured with PM's.

Floral Card and Gift Box

Hi everyone...hope you're all enjoying a lovely weekend.
I was thrilled that my previous card here won top addict last week at Addicted to Stamps and More.
Today I have a card and gift box for my dear friend who I have known since we were babes.
For my base I used papers from 'Flowergarden' by Tilda. I love Tilda papers!
My frame was made by layering Spellbinders Marvelous Squares. My stamped sentiment is by Anna Griffin.
I then added my flower spray, which was made with some beautiful flowers from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.  Sarah now stocks a lovely selection of pretty flowers. I also added some die cut foliage, coloured with PM's and a bow using bakers twine.
I cut my little gift box on the Cameo, then added some dies from the same set as my card, and another little flower spray.
Flowers and bakers twine are available from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop

Here is my Sparkly card...
I used the dress form from the 'Feminine Charm' set of stamps.  I stamped directly on to my base card, and then stamped two more images so that I could add dimension. I used a glue pen and Glamour Dust on my bodice then added that to my base image.

I then cut out the flower embellishment, coloured with ProMarkers then added those to the bodice. My sentiment is also from the 'Feminine Charm' set of stamps.  I stamped that onto one of the labels from the 'Country Charm' set of stamps, which I cut down to fit my card.

Sorry I've Been MIA

Hello everyone! Hope you are all fit and well :)
I know, it's been quite some time since my last post.  Today is the first time I  have ventured into blogland since before our holiday, so I must apologise for not visiting you.
Unfortunately, I was ill before and during our holiday, and I'm still not feeling well.  I left with an abscess behind my upper bridge, the infection has now spread to my ear and throat, so I've been in quite a lot of pain, and not really felt like doing much.
I will try to get around to visiting you over this weekend. And I will be back on Monday with my DT posts.
Lots of love,
Sasha xx
