Just A Note from Me to You

Hi all, hope you are all well.

I just wanted to let you know that I will be missing from blog land for a little while.  So please don't think that I have deserted you all, I will catch up when I can.

Here is my 'Just a Note from Me to You' card...

I used kraft for my base card, then embossed with a 'Design Objectives' embossing folder onto white card stock. All stamps are from the JustRite 'Botanical Butterflies' collection and coloured with PM's

Ribbon and lace are from my stash, and I used Edgeabilities at the bottom of my card.

Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - May Challenge

Good Monday morning everyone, hope you're all enjoying your bank holiday.
Today brings us a brand new challenge at the  Pretty Little Ribbon Shop Blog.  This month, Jane has chosen Blooms and Butterflies as the theme for May.
Here is my card...

My backing paper is by Pink Petticoat, to which I added a Spellbinder Lattice Motif with a layer of pink vellum beneath. I then stamped my sentiment onto the smallest of the Spellbinders Floral Ovals. I stamped a butterfly onto some pink vellum, then embossed with WOW white embossing powder, and fussy cut around it. I also made a layered flower from the same pink vellum, then added a pearl to the centre. I made a three layer bow, to which I added the flower and two diamante pins.

Products used...

15mm white organza polka dot ribbon, pearls, diamante pins and WOW white embossing powder are all from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.

Ooh! La La!

Hi all, hope you're all well.  We're having typical bank holiday weather here in the UK...it's very cold. And I heard on the news that it was warmer at Christmas!! Weird weather patterns.

Today I have a card that was made by mistake, (one of my many senior moments - LOL!),  but it will probably come in for someone at sometime in the future...

I used Spellbinders Edgeabilities on my card base. The bodice stamp is from the  'Couture' collection by Stampendous, it's called 'Beaded Bodice'.  It's quite a large stamp and I'm almost sure that it was designed by Kathy Mills of the Glitter Girls.  I've had it quite a long time, before the glitter girls formed their partnership. 

I stamped with clear ink, then embossed with Moon Glow - Starburst Candy Rose embossing powder, which gives a beautiful two tone effect. To embellish, I added some white and pink pearls, and some of my crystal coloured pearl maker.  I gathered some pink tulle and attached to the back of the bodice to make it look more...Ooh La La! To finish I added a siam pink seam binding bow, some pretty pastel pearl teardrop pins, and a hand written tag.  My seam binding, pearls, pins and tulle are all from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.

Flutter by Butterfly

Hi all, hope your having a good week where ever you are.
First of all, I would like to thank and welcome my new followers.
Today I have a card for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. This week the team would like you to make something with a butterfly on it.
Here is my card...

I used kraft card for my base, then added a cream embossed layer.  I stamped a sentiment from the Flourishes - 'Cherry Bloosoms' set of stamps onto a Spellbinders Fancy Tag.

I cut a decorative border using Spellbinders Edgeabilities, then added some pearls and pink bakers twine. My butterfly was stamped onto white cardstock, cut out and mounted onto kraft card...I added a few pearls for the body.  My bow is Siam Pink seam binding.
