Tre's CHIC

Hi all, hope you are all well and looking forward to your weekend.
Today I have a card for the Timeless Tuesday challenge #175.
Silke is host this week, and she is challenging us to make something using our favourite Flourishes stamp, our favourite die, and our favourite embellishment.
My favourite Flourishes stamp has to be the beautiful sandal from the 'Feminine Charm' set of stamps.  I have used this stamp so much on lots of things I have never shown on my blog. Personalised cards, gift tags, all things girlie...I just love it!  The Spellbinders 'Floral Oval' die I have used is one of my favourites, mainly because you can make it into a card, as I have done here.  And finally...well, if you follow my blog, you will know how much I love to make my own floral embellishments and I also love a fussy bow, too.
Here is my card...
For my card base I cut two of the largest Spellbinders 'Floral Ovals' dies and mounted them onto an oval card that I cut myself. I cut another oval shape, embossed that, then mounted it onto my card front.  I then cut the second largest Floral Oval die, and stamped my sandal.  I coloured my sandal with PM's, added a little glamour dust, then stamped the Tre's Chic, which is also from the same set of stamps. I cut a rose on my Cameo, coloured it with PM's then attched it to my bow. Finally, I added some coordinating dew drops.
The ribbon looks much darker on my photo...it actually matches perfectly with my sandal, but after numerous tries my SLR camera could not get the colour right.  Perhaps that's because I dropped it on the floor yesterday.

Ingredients...
Plain white card stock
Spellbinders Floral Oval Dies
Flourishes 'Feminine Charm' Stamp Set - Make the Day Special
Pro Markers - Amethyst and Orchid
Aubergine 25mm Satin Ribbon - Pretty Little Ribbon Shop
Lavender Dew Drops - Pretty Little Ribbon Shop

Cherry Blossoms

Hi all, hope you are all well.  We are just about drying out here in West Yorkshire.  We've had a terrible week of torrential rain, and very strong winds.  Fortunately, we are high up, but people living near by have been flooded out of their homes...how awful!
I have been very busy over the past week, so haven't had a chance to blog. I was asked to make some wedding cards...mainly white, with pale blossoms.  I knew straight away which stamp set to reach for...Cherry Blossoms by Flourishes.
Cindy is the host for the Timeless Tuesday Challenge and she has asked us to make something from our desk.  I have put together a card, with things that were left over from my wedding cards.  I hope this is acceptable...

My base card was cut on the Cameo. I then layered two of the Spellbinder Splendid Circles.  On the smaller circle I stamped my cherry blossom and coloured with a combo of distress inks and PM's. To embellish, I added a simple ribbon bow, pearls and decorative pin.
This is not an exact replica of the wedding cards I made, but I quite like the finished result.

Ingredients...
Plain White card stock
Flourishes - 'Cherry Blossoms' set of stamps
Spellbinders - Splendid Circles
PM's - Tea Green and Lime
Distress Inks - Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, Fired Brick
Pretty Little Ribbon Shop  - Pearls, Ribbon and Decorative Pin

JustRite Friday Challenge #75

Hi all, hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend.
Today I have a card for the JustRite Friday Challenge #75 which is a colour challenge, and what lovely colours they are...
For my card I used DP from  First Addition - BoHo Chic. I then stamped the beautiful Heart Scroll background stamp by JustRite stamps onto a piece of plain white card stock, using Brilliance 'Aurora' pigment ink. My medallion is from JustRite 'Always and Forever' set of stamps, as is the sentiment. I stamped the medallion with Brilliance 'Peacock' pigment ink, then stamped the sentiment onto the smallest Spellbinders - Teardrop Circles die, and added three gems coloured with PM's.
For the bottom of my card, I die cut a strip of white card with Spellbinders - Classic Triple Scallops. I then stamped with one of the JustRite Classic Lace Edge, (One) stamps...these stamps coordinate with the Spellbinders dies.  I then added aqua seam binding, peach bakers twine and a rolled rose coloured with PM's.
I was so thrilled to have been chosen with the three honorable mention winners at JustRite stamps with this card...
My prize was to choose either a cling, or clear stamp set...Wonderful!!

Bird & Branches JustRite Challenge

Hi all, hope you are well and thank you for stopping by.
Today I have a card for the JustRite 'Vintage - Masculine' challenge. Well, I'm not sure if my card will pass for a vintage card.  I have quite a collection of JustRite stamp sets, but unfortunately I don't have any masculine ones.  They are quite difficult to find here in the UK.  So I used stamps from several different JustRite sets, and I'm hoping my card is acceptable...
I used cream card stock throughout, and added a layer embossed with Spellbinders Flora folder.  I cut the bottom of my card with Spellbinders Classic Triple Scallop die, and then stamped with one of the JustRite Classic Lace Edge (Two) stamps.  These stamps coordinate with the Spellbinder dies I used.
I used the following stamps from JustRite...My label is from the Always & Forever set.  My bird is from Spring Rose Medallions set, and my sentiment from Kindness set.  I added some bird design ribbon, green gems, and leaves cut on Cameo. Bird and leaves were coloured with PM's.  Finally, I added a sweet little bird cage which is from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.
I don't have a dad any more, so this will be given to my lovely husband on Fathers day, as he loves to feed the many birds that visit our garden.

I would also like to enter my card in to the following challenge...

Friends & Roses

Hi all, it's a wet and windy day here in West Yorkshire again.  Where is our summer? I want to craft outside!
Today I have a card for a few challenges.  I've been making some roses again, so thought I had better put them to use...
I used the Cheery Lynn - English Tea Party die, matted onto a white shaped card. My sentiment stamp is by JustRite from the Spring Rose Medallions set.
I designed the roses on my Cameo and also cut some leaves.  They were coloured with a combination of pro markers and distress inks. Finally, I added a few pearls, coloured with PM's to coordinate.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges...

Timeless Tuesday Challenge #172

Hi dear blogging friends, hope you are all well.
Today I have a card for the Timeless Tuesday Challenge #172.  Amanda is this weeks host, and she has challenged us to make a white card with lace, and or pearls.
Here is my card...
I used 300 gsm white card and silver mirror card. The bottom of my card was cut and embossed with Spellbinders classic decorative inserts three. The top half was embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.
My sentiment is from the Flourishes Cherry Blossoms set of stamps. I stamped onto an oval die and then overlaid that onto one of the Spellbinders fancy tags two.  I then added some ribbon lace from my stash and folded a faux bow using some15mm white satin ribbon from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. The large pearl brad and 3mm pearls are from my stash.

Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - June Challenge

Hi all, hope you are all well, and for those of you in the UK, hope you are enjoying the Jubilee holidays.
Sorry I haven't been around for a while.  We had some time away, which was lovely, but things haven't been that great since we got back.  Anyhow...onwards and upwards.
Today is the start of another challenge at the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop blog.  This month it was my turn to choose the theme, and I thought it would be fun to see your cards/projects with lots of layers.  That could be layers of card, paper, flowers, embellishments, or all all of them, whatever you like to use.
Here are my two creations...
First of all, for a change, I made a wall hanging...
Using tuxedo black ink, I stamped one of the frames from the Spring Rose Medallions set by JustRite stamps onto white card.  I coloured my image with promarkers, and then stamped the bird on a branch from the same stamp set. I cut around the bird image and attached it to my frame.
I then attached the frame to a Spellbinders floral oval die. I layered these onto a plain oval in pale green pearl. I embossed some white card with a sizzix embossing folder, then fussy cut around the embossed shape.
I then layered onto more pale green pearl and finally some embossed white card.  To complete, I added my hanger bow with tail, and the sweet little bird cage charm.

My second creation is a doily card...
I must be in green and blue mood, as both my projects use these colours. For my card I started off by stamping an image from the Botanical Butterflies set by JustRite stamps. I stamped with black onto white card, and coloured with pro markers.

I layered onto a Spellbinders splendid circles die, and then onto the Cheery Lynn English Tea Party doily in pale pearl green. I cut a matching shaped card on my Cameo, and attached the doily onto that.  Finally, I added my duo ribbon bow and leaf pins.

Please do pop over to the blog and see the fabulous creations from my team mates. I know Sarah will have something really pretty as this months prize, so why not join in with us for a chance to win?
