December Challenge #5 - Christmas - Anything With A Bow

Good morning everyone!  Hope you're all well and preparing for Christmas without too much stress.

This month it was my turn to choose the theme for our challenge over at the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop Blog. As my followers will already know, I love bows, so it wasn't hard for me to decide.  The challenge is...To make any Christmas card, or project, to include a bow.

Here are my three projects...

Spellbinder Ornament No.1
I made my ornament using the project I found here on Splitcoaststampers, which uses the Spellbinder Fleur di Lis die set.  I twisted my ornament around so that there were sixteen sections rather than the eight in the project. After assembly, I sprayed the whole ornament with iridescent Spray & Sparkle then added a large pearl cabochon.  The ribbon is 15mm white organza from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. This ribbon is perfect for bows as it keeps it's shape so well.

Spellbinder Ornament No.2

For my second ornament, I used Spellbinders Parisian Motifs, Ironwork Motifs and Standard Cicles.  The ribbon and bow were made with the  beautiful parrot green sheer polka dot ribbon from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. I blinged the ornament with red and green rhinestones from my stash.  The centre was stamped, then coloured with pro markers.  I covered the berries with glossy accents to make them pop.

Christmas Cracker

My Christmas Cracker is 9" long and cut on the Cameo.  I used a 12"x12" (30cm x 30cm) piece of pearl red holly design 350gsm cardstock. The ribbon bows were made using 50mm white silky crush wired ribbon  from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.  Holly leaves were made from white cardstock, then glittered with Glamour Dust.  I added pink and white stamen to a pink Prima poinsettia.  The bling on the bows are actually diamante pins from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.  I cut them down with wire snippers before adding them to the bows.

Why not join in with us this month, as there will be a fabulous prize on offer from Sarah.

Do visit my team mates who have some fabulous creations this month.

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a great week! xx

Hello Sasha. I am amazed at your wonderful creations! A question - I want to buy the Cameo, but I need to cut 300gsm card. Will it cut the detailed designs? I see you cut 350gsm, I am amazed! Please let me know!!!
