Autumn Flowers

Hi all! And a warm welcome to my new followers.
I haven't been able to take any photo's for over a week, as I dropped my SLR camera and it had to go away for repairs. And now we have terrible dark weather conditions.  So my photo today is not brilliant.
I have made a card for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #188. The challenge is a 'Fall Theme'. So I made my card to reflect the lovely fall flowers that are around just now...
For my card, I used Flourishes - 'Garden Picks' set of stamps, which includes the lovely jar stamp and three different flower sprays. I also used Kraft-Core nostalgic collection for my base card, along with some ribbed Kraft card and cream watercolour card. The dies I used are Spellbinders labels twenty-eight. My image was coloured with ProMarkers.  I completed my card with a die cut flower spray.  I coloured the flower and leaves with distress inks and I added some gold stamen to the centre of my flower. Finally my red seam binding bow and a pearl brad from my stash.

I would also like to enter my card into the following challenge...

Charm Me!

Hi all! Today I have a card for the JustRite Friday Challenge #81 - "Charm Me". You have to make a card, or project to include a charm.  I made my charm from clear shrink plastic.  Here is my card...
For my base card I used Boho Chic papers and did some faux stitching with a pricking tool and a jellyroll pen. I then added some seam binding with a row of bling and attached a double bow.
My label is from JustRite - "Your Special Day Medallion Labels"..... as is the sentiment. I cut and layered the label, stamping with colours to coordinate with my papers and seam binding.
Finally, my charm. I stamped a butterfly onto some clear shrink plastic.  This was from the JustRite - "Botanical Butterflies" set. I stamped with the same colours as the ones on my label.

A Little Shimmer

Hi all. Hope you have enjoyed a lovely weekend. It's been quite dark here all day.  No matter how I tried I just couldn't get a good photo without the flash cutting in on my camera, and I prefer natural light.  Anyhow, here is my card for today...
My image is from the Flourishes - 'With Gratitude' set of stamps. I coloured my flowers with ProMarkers and then chalked over them with lavender shimmer chalk.  I used my new set of Spellbinders decorative labels eight, then cut them down to fit my image by cutting across the centres and carefully joining them back together.  I managed to cover the join with my ribbon.

I hope my card is pink enough to enter the challenge at In the Pink Challenge #3 which is anything but square.

Anniversary Card

Hi all! It's ages since I blogged, and the main reason is that I've been snowed under with commission cards.  I keep saying that I'm not going to do any more, as they are so time consuming.  Then, when someone asks nicely, I just can't say no.
Anyhow, among the ones I have made there was this anniversary card with no personal words on the outside, so I can show you. The image I used was a request, so I didn't stamp this one, but I did add my own touches of colour, and a bit of bling, here and there...
The image is from a Forever Friends collection, and I added more red to the roses, with a touch of glamour dust to the leaves and champaign glasses. I used a selection of Spellbinders dies, a button from my stash and  a double bow made with white sheer polka dot ribbon from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.
Thank you for stopping by!
Enjoy a lovely weekend!

Mini Card

Good afternoon everyone! And a warm welcome to my new followers!
Today at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge.  Broni is the hostess and she has asked us to make a mini card...no larger than a 4"x3" (approx 100mm x75mm).
Here is my card...
The second largest Spellbinders Fleur De Lis die is the perfect size for this card.  I also used one of the classic rectangles to stamp my image onto. After masking my sun, I sponged first with distress inks, (Salty Ocean, Spiced Marmalade and Mowed Lawn). I then stamped with one of the Flourishes 'Cherry Blossom' stamps, which is a silhouette stamp. I added the tiny birds using a fine tip black marker pen. The sentiment is from Flourishes 'Tag Lines'.

Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - September Challenge

Good morning everyone. This is my second post for today, please scroll down for my earlier one.

It's the first Monday of September and time for another monthly challenge a Pretty Little Ribbon Shop Blog. This month Teresa is our host, and she has asked us to create a card, or project, using pearls and lace.
Here is my card...
I've gone for white on white...AGAIN! As you can see. I embossed my base card and along the bottom I added some beautiful guipure lace, and some pearls. For the top of my card I folded a Spellbinders Persian Motif die in half then added the pretty pearl hearts to the design, and some bows at either side. I then added my stamped and cut sentiment.
The Guipure Lace, Pearls, Pearl Hearts and 15mm Sheer Elegance Ribbon are all from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.
Do stop by the blog and see the beautiful creations by my team mates.  I know Sarah will have another pretty prize up for grabs...so why not join in with us?
Thank you for stopping by!
Enjoy a lovely week ahead!

A big thank you to those of you who travelled the globe with us last month, and stamped our passports, (left comments), we were thrilled to have you join in with us on our maiden flight.
Do you know that your travels around the Flourishes World gives you the opportunity to WIN??  All we ask is that you do a little globe trotting and leave us a comment, and you could WIN A FREE FLOURISHES STAMP SET!!!! The catch is, you don't know which country is going to be this months vacation spot, (chosen blog).  So leave a comment on each one by September 30th for your chance to win!!!!
This month our hostess is Anne-Elise, and she's challenged us to remember our friends. Where would we be without our friends?  We laugh together, cry together and share our dreams with one another. We are always there for one another in good times and bad. Today we remember our friends with Sympathy, Missing You, Thinking of You, or even Wishing You Were Here cards, and perhaps we will even have a special story about those friends who have inspired us along the way.
If you've jetted in from Naomi, in beautiful B.C. Canada, then you've arrived at the right destination! If you haven't, then perhaps you would like to start your journey back in Florida at the Flourishes Blog so you don't miss any of the beautiful inspiration along the way.
My card is dedicated to my lovely loyal friend who I have known since we were little girls.  We don't get to see one another much, as she emigrated quite a few years ago, but thanks to the wonderful world of the internet, we email one another lots...
I have made my card using several layers of Spellbinders Labels Twenty Eight.
On my top layer I stamped my bouquet from the beautiful Flourishes 'Summer Blossoms' set of stamps.
My sentiment is from Flourishes 'Tag Lines' set of stamps.  I coloured with ProMarkers and added glossy accents to my berries and the centres of my two largest flowers.

To complete, I added some bling and a double organza bow.
Thank you for visiting me here in England.  It's now time to grab your passport and board Flourishes Flight BWT, where your next destination is...

Coffee and Cream

Hello everyone, hope you're all enjoying a lovely weekend.
First of all I would like to thank and welcome my new followers.
Today I have a card for a challenge I saw on Katina's blog.  I had just made a cream and brown card for a friend who I loves these colours.....so perfect for the Crafty Calendar Challenge, which is to create something using cream and brown.
My camera hasn't taken the true colours of my card, which are definitely coffee and cream...
I have used vintage cream card stock, and a digitally printed paper. I stamped my label using JustRite Fleur De Lis labels twenty stamp set, and then cut out using one of the Spellbinders Fleur De Lis label dies. I embossed one side of my card.  I also added a strip down the centre cut with Spellbinders Classic Petals and  then stamped with one of the border stamps from Classic Lace Edges One by JustRite stamps. To embellish, I added a bow made with cream seam binding and a few pearls, both from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.
I'll be back bright and early on Monday with two cards for two challenges.

Thank you for stopping by
Enjoy the rest of your weekend
