Pretty Little Ribbon Shop May Challenge - Lace

Please scroll down to see my May Flourishes BWT Post

Hello lovely friends and followers. It's time for another challenge at the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop, and this month our lovely Marlies has asked us to create a card, or project using lace.
Here is what I created...
For my first card I used an Anna Griffin embossing folder a SB die from A2 Filigree Delight and a flourish die. I made a flower and bow using blue 38mm sheer wrinkle edge ribbon. I added some white 22mm cotton lace and pearls. All from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. I computer generated my sentiment.
My second card uses an image from the 'Frou Frou' CD. The image was very pale and blurry, so I re- coloured it with ProMarkers.
I added some beautiful guipure lace, tiny heart pearls a ribbon bow from white 25mm organza ribbon and some white hip rosebuds, tinted  with PM's.
Do pop over to our blog and see the beautiful creations by my team mates. Then why not join in with us for the chance to win something pretty.
Thank you for stopping by
Sasha x

Good Morning Sasha,
Well these are right up my street so I adore them, they are both stunningly beautiful creations.

I know what you mean about the CD images. I bought it to use for classes and was very disappointed in the quality of the images. Never thought about using them and letting the ladies colour them. Thank you for that.

What can I say Sasha other than you so inspire me with your artistic use of dies.

Although I love them both, that little image on the second really does draw me, I think it reminds me of my eldest daughter about that age when she did ballet.

Hope you enjoy the sunshine today.

Both cards are gorgeous and very elegant. I did like the CDs but thought they lacked the definition so this is very clever, they may go on my wish list after all. xx Flora
