Charity Cards

Hi everyone! Today I have three not so special generic cards to show, and they will be added to my collection of charity cards. I apologise for the poor quality photo's, unfortunately the sky was very grey with heavy cloud when I took them.

The flowers on my first card were printed and cut on my Cameo then laid across the Cheery Lynn 'Mexican Tile' frame and given a little dimension.
I created the background on my second card using four Spellbinders 'Corner Flourish' dies. The central die is by Marianne.  I stamped my flowers and coloured with ProMarkers. I added some enamel accents to the flower centres.
For my final card I embossed the background with Spellbinders 'Garden Lattice' EF then added cosmic shimmer 'Vintage Pink' faux pearls. My image is from Flourishes 'Tulips for Friends'..... I love this stamp set!
I coloured my tulips with Anna Griffin water colour markers.
That's all for today folks!  I will probably show some more charity cards later in the week
Thank you for stopping by

This month Anne-Elise is our hostess, and she as asked us to create something with a vintage feel.
Here is my take on the challenge.....a card with a soft vintage feel.....
As you can see I used two doilies as my focal point.  I sponged the edges with Tattered Rose distress ink and stamped the top doily with one of the sentiments from  'Garden Gate' set of stamps.
I cut some flowers and buds on my Cameo and coloured those with Tattered Rose distress ink. I then added some pearl stamen to the centres.
The rose leaves were stamped from part of the 'Lenten Rose' stamp set.  I cut them out and water coloured them. I also stamped around my base card with the 'Lenten Rose' stamp. To complete, I added an organza bow.
Here you can see the sentiment more clearly.....
Thank you for stopping by.  Your next stop along the way is at Bridgets blog in Northern Ireland....

Flourishes Beautiful World Tour - White As Snow!

Good morning everyone!
It's the first Monday in December and time for another Flourishes Beautiful World Tour! So grab yourself a cup of your favourite beverage and join in with us as we travel the world.
If you're on track you should have arrived here from Bridget's blog in Northern Ireland, but should you get lost along your travels just hop on back to the beginning - Flourishes blog in Florida.
By joining in with our tour you will be in with the chance of winning a FREE FLOURISHES STAMP SET!!! All you need to do is leave a comment on each designers blog by 31st December.
This month Meredith is our hostess, and she has asked us to create something 'White As Snow'.  Anyone following my blog will know that I love white on white cards.....so that is what I decided to create.....
As you can see I used several Spellbinders layers.  I then stamped my holly image with Bundled Sage distress ink using Flourishes 'Naturally Merry' stamp set. I stamped the image again, fussy cut, glittered, then layered it to give some dimension. For my berries I used enamel accents.
I stamped 'Joy' onto a Spellbinders label die using a stamp from the beautiful 'Poinsettia & Pine' set of stamps. I then tied this onto an organza ribbon bow, along with two silver bells.
For my insert I stamped randomly around the edges with the holly and then stamped the 'Merry Christmas'. Both stamps are from the 'Naturally Merry' stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Your next stop along the way is Iwona's blog in Australia.....

For the flap of my money wallet I used Spellbinders Borderbilities, I then stamped three times with one of the stamps from Flourishes 'Picking Wild Flowers' set.
I then stamped the leafy frond using a stamp from 'Summer Blossoms' set.  I slightly curved the stamp to follow the line of the borderbility.
I coloured with markers and then added my decorative bow.
On the inside I attached a ribbon and label to hold money.  I then stamped my sentiment with two of the stamps from 'Inside & Out Just Because' set of stamps.
Here is what it looks like with a note inside.

Hello dear friends and followers, I hope you are all keeping well.
First of all, I apologise for only just posting this.
Thank you to all who have PM'd me, or stopped by and asked if all was well, it really is appreciated.
I've had a few nasty health issues and I'm still awaiting more test results. During this time I have had to put crafting and blogging on hold for a while, but I'm hoping to be back ASAP.
Thank you for sticking with me, and I apologise for my lack of commenting on all your wonderful crafty creations!
Sending love and hugs to all of you.

Holly Themed Christmas Cards

Hello dear friends and followers. Hope you are all well.
Today I have been working on some more Christmas cards.  Although I don't have lots to make, I thought that for a change I would get organised.
My first card is one of the images I have had since last Christmas! It's from the Hobby House, Mo Manning Christmas Fairy collection. She's 'Holly Fairy' a topper...I didn't need to colour her! I just gave her dress and wings a bit of sparkle with glamour dust...
I started with a circle card and then stamped my background randomly with one of the Hearfelt Creations - Holly Berry stamps. I then did a bit of fiddling around with the dies from Spellbinders 'Holly Motifs', glittered them and arranged them around my topper.
Finally, I added some red pearls for holly berries, and an organza bow trimmed with a Hobby House crystal embellishment. The crystal was pale green, I coloured it red with one of my Promarkers.
My second card is also created using Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies along with Spellbinders - Majestic Labels Twenty Five...
I stamped with bundled sage distress ink and added glamour dust here and there along with some rhinestones berries for a bit of Christmas sparkle.
Thank you for stopping by

I would like to enter my 1st card into the following challenges...

Hello dear friends and followers! Hope you are all well.
I can't believe it's September already!  Today is the first Monday of the month and it's time for another Flourishes Beautiful World Tour.
If you're on track you should have arrived here from Dina's blog, but if you get lost along the way you can start your hop back in Florida at the Flourishes Blog. This month Aleksandre is our hostess and she has asked us to create something with a postcard theme. I decided to go for a vintage postcard. Here is my card...
I started with a cream card base and randomly stamped with Spun Sugar distress ink using one of the stamps from Flourishes 'Lenten Rose' set of stamps.
For my postcard I used some designer paper from my stash and stamped using the same image from the 'Lenten Rose' set. I stamped the roses several times, coloured with markers and then cut them out and layered them. I added dimensional paint to the centres. My sentiment is stamped using one of the stamps from 'Tulips for Friends' set of stamps.
I then coloured and cut out two butterflies stamped from the 'Butterflies and Blossoms' set of stamps and layered them. I added some wire antenna. Finally, I added some pretty lace which I embellished with pearls. I also added a seam binding bow.
Thank you for stopping by.  Your next stop on the tour is at Kathy's blog in beautiful Australia!

Coloured Dry Embossing with Anna Griffin Dies

Hello dear friends and followers, hope you are all well.....today I have two cards created with my new Anna Griffin floral dies and embossing folder.
They look fabulous left just dry embossed on white card, but I thought I would try colouring them.  My first card was printed with Pink Petticoat Ombre in Dainty Daffodil. I then cut and embossed my Anna Griffin die. I coloured the flowers and leaves with ProMarkers, then added my butterfly, which is from Spellbinders Les Papillons Two. I then stamped my sentiment from JustRite 'Good Friends Labels Twenty Nine' set of stamps.....
To finish I added some bling to my butterfly and card base.....
For my second card I used Pan Pastels to colour the flowers and leaves through the die before removing the card. I layered this onto a plain piece of card, and then onto an embossed piece of card, embossed with the Anna Griffin  'Ogee Damask' folder.....
My sentiment is from JustRite 'Celebrations Labels One & Bracket Borders One' set of stamps. I stamped onto Spellbinders and added some colour with Pan Pastels.....
Thank you for stopping by today

White On White Christmas Sparkle

Hello dear friends and followers, hope you are all keeping well. And a warm welcome to my newest followers.
I've made my first Christmas card, which is really early for me, but I felt a touch of sparkle coming on as it's a bit cloudy and dull here today in West Yorkshire.
To create my card I used lots of white card, and quite a lot of Glamour Dust!! Spellbinders, 5x7 Elegant Labels 4 dies - Poppy Stamps, Blooming Poinsettia dies - A flourish cut on my Cameo, and my sentiment is from Flourishes 'Naturally Merry' set of stamps.
If you click on the picture you will get a much clearer image.....

Flourishes Beautiful World Tour - English Rose

Hello dear friends and followers. Sorry for my lack of blogging this past week, we took a short break.
Today, being the first Monday in August, it's time for another Beautiful World Tour. If you're on track, you should have arrived here from Bridget's blog in beautiful Northern Ireland...but if you get lost along your way you can start your hop back at the Flourishes blog in Florida.
By joining in with our tour you get the chance to see some of the beautiful Flourishes stamps used by the designers, and by leaving a comment on each designers blog by 31st August, you get the chance to win a FREE Flourishes stamp set!!!
This month Naomi is our lovely hostess and she has asked us to create something with the flower that represents our country.  For me it had to be the English Rose, and I chose a lovely pink one within a sweet bouquet...
My image is from Flourishes 'Roses are Red' collection of stamps.  I did use this stamp before for a red rose, here...so this time I chose pink! I coloured my image with markers and I also used some dimensional paint for my viola centres and berries. I inked the edges with Spun Sugar distress ink.
My sentiment is from Flourishes 'Old Tea Rose' collection.
I used quite a few layers, created with dies and some embossing. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash.
Thank you for stopping by! Your next stop along the way is Naomi's blog in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

Less Is More Week #129 - Hand Made Flowers

Hello everyone!  Today I have a card that I made for someone who wanted yellow and blue flowers.  It's quite a while since I made a CAS card, and I noticed that the theme over at Less Is More this week is hand made flowers, and my card does have some of those on it. So without further a do here is my card...
I used a LOTV image and coloured with PM's. I cut my flowers and leaves from card stock and coloured them to match my image. I cut my image out with SB Grand Decorative Ovals One.
My photo is not as clear as I would have liked...it's due to the very bright sunshine!

Life's A Beach

Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend...and for those of you here in the UK who are experiencing this unbelievable heatwave!! I hope you are a bit cooler today.  It's very overcast here in West Yorkshire, and a welcome change from the sweltering 30 degrees yesterday!!
Today I have another quick collage card. Because of this heat, Ella is indoors most of the time and she has been a real minx this week. So no time for crafting again!!
Here is what I managed to put together for a friend who is going away for a month to visit relatives abroad...
I used papers and elements from the Tilda 'Seaside Life' collection. The entire collection is so fresh and beachy. My sentiment is from Pink Petticoat 'Beach Cottage' download collection. There are some pretty designs and you get a free sheet of 'Tiny Seashore Sentiments'. I layered everything onto one of the circle dies from SB Grand Decorative Circles One. I then placed that onto my base card.
I added glamour dust to her pretty bathing costume, and her wings. The pink pearl is from my stash.
Here are a couple of photos of our little minx before and after jumping into the spray of the hosepipe while I was watering the planters...

Thank you for stopping by
Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Roses Roses Everywhere

Hi everyone!  Hope you are all well, and a BIG warm welcome to my newest followers.
It's been quite hectic here over the past couple of weeks getting Ella settled in.  She can be a little minx at times, but she is sooo loveable, too.  I haven't had much time to craft, but I've been able to catch up with you all when I get some time to myself.
Today I got some free time to make a collage card...no time for stamping, unfortunately...
My papers are all from the Tilda 'Country Escape' collection. (I just love roses, and especially ditsy prints). I also embossed some pale pink card to make my tails.
I added an assortment of pink gems. Some pink cherry blossoms and pretty lace, sent to me by my lovely blogging friend, Pauline.
Finally I added a multi bow made with pink crochet silk and added a pink heart gem.

Thank you for stopping by.  I'm hoping to try and get a few more cards made this week, as I have a few family birthdays coming up...although I may not get the chance to upload them.

Take care everyone!
Lots of love, Sasha xx
