Springtime...

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Well...not quite, yet, but I've made a start on my Spring/Easter cards.
Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.
I haven't been doing much crafting this week. But yesterday afternoon and this morning, I got my crafting head into gear and made a couple of cards for a few challenges.
For my first card I used an image from Crafty Secrets, mounted onto a framework I made from a couple of different Spellbinder dies. I then matted the frame onto some deep lilac basil. I added a few tiny flowers coloured to match with PM's. My base card was embossed with a design objectives embossing folder.
My second card shape was cut on the Cameo. I added an embossed scallop border to the top and also embossed a label. I then cut out a digi image with a Spellbinders lacy circle die, and coloured with PM's. Finally I pricked around the bottom scallops, added a few pearls and tied a bow with seam binding, to which I added a flower coloured to match my image.

I would like to enter my cards in to the following challenges...
Card No.1 - One Stop Craft Challenge - Create Your Own Background
Card No.2 - CAS-ual Fridays - Use Ribbon
Card No.2 - LIM - Use Dies
Both Cards - Card Crafters Circle - Die Cuts
Both Cards - Allsorts Challenge Blog - Anything Goes
Thank You for stopping by xx
Have a Great Day!

Both are really gorgeous Sasha - I love the way the first one looks like a Spanish window. The second is so elegant with all the white detail.

Hi Sasha, Two stunning cards, love them both but especially the second one.
Thank you for your kind words on my blog.My daughter said that LGI is an amazing place and she felt so much better there than in our local hospital. They were treated pretty appallingly at ours but that`s another story.

I always love your beautiful cards Sasha. The first one is my favourite here - the image is so detailed you could almost walk into it and I love your matching die cut flowers. I'm joining you in wishing for spring to arrive - the wind today could have cut you in half! Vicky x
